Asking to go a little more until you decide to come back helps him know that you are safe and secure and he can trust you next time out with a little more away from the barn distance. Great work!

Sounds like a perfect Christmas weekend! You should send a picture to the company and tell them you advertised them on your blog. Who knows maybe they'll send you a free one.

Your rides with Buckshot sound wonderful, the perfect Christmas gift to both of you. Glad he got over his sulkiness about the wormer.

Wishing you and Buckshot a great New Year and lots of special rides in 2012.Grey Horse Mattershttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05837575441967937196noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4383248353799801237.post-91537927162367349442011-12-29T11:24:21.725-05:002011-12-29T11:24:21.725-05:00I am very glad Christmas is over and I can return ...I am very glad Christmas is over and I can return to a normal routine. Christmas is fun but I'm always glad to put it behind me.

I like your new caps! They look great on you. I'd not heard of them before. I visited the website and I will probably order one and see how it works out. I like the brimless one too. I see they are dry clean only and I'm wondering how much barn smell they absorb and if they will dry clean well with those dry-clean sheets for use in a home dryer. I have a fleece ski cap I wear to the barn every morning/evening but it picks up a lot of barn odor and has to be washed frequently, or I feel like my hair picks up the barn smell too; I prefer to go to work without the smell of muck in my hair. The hats look really cute, so I'm going to try one.

Glad you had some nice rides with Buckshot. I haven't been able to ride since the day before thanksgiving.Once Upon an Equinehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08807098276875052982noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4383248353799801237.post-77287922288217870832011-12-28T22:23:16.495-05:002011-12-28T22:23:16.495-05:00I LOVE your hats! What a trend setter you are :)
Sounds like you had some great Christmas rides. Yeah! I like the description of Buckshot bounding along. Isn't it a woderful feeling when that happens?
Don't worry about his sulk.
